Advanced ICS for General and Command Staff 

February 12-13th, 2019  at MSU Bozeman


Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services will be back on the Montana State University Campus February 12-13th to deliver ICS-400: Advanced ICS for General and Command Staff a follow on to ICS-300. ICS 400 is a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funded course and there is no cost to the registrant to attend.

 The topics of the course are:

-        Fundamental review of command and general staff

-        Major and/or complex incident/event management

-        Area Command

-        Multi-Agency Coordination System (MACS)

The course is designed to bring together stakeholders from the university and the surrounding community. Participants from the university may include campus public safety, Emergency Operations Center staff, campus administration, campus events staff, student life, and many more.  Participants from the local community may include local emergency management, fire services, Emergency Medical Services, local law enforcement and public health agencies.

 The pre-requisite for the course includes the completion of ICS 300.
