This presentation, given by Rachel Hinnenkamp (Communicable Disease Epidemiology—DPHHS) and Ed Evanson, will discuss testing, possible reasons for the increase in Legionella cases, susceptible populations, and environmental factors that increase the risk of illness. There will also be an environmental investigation component that addresses how to investigate the most likely risk factors when disease is diagnosed, and how to mitigate risk for others.
